Arrival at Kathmandu: You will be welcomed by our team members with flowers and smiles at the airport and your family will be transferred to the hotel where your family can unwind and stretch their legs. In the evening, our team of professional tour experts will brief you about the upcoming 9 days and how each day will unfold. If your flight is delayed, we will have the same briefing the next day.
*If you land at the Kathmandu airport early on the 1st day, you can go sightseeing as per your wish or explore the local market.
8:30 AM: Complete your breakfast at the hotel and then gear up for an entire day of exciting sightseeing. Our cab booked for the whole day will reach your hotel, just hop on and commence your vacation. We will begin the day with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple and then continue our religious exploration by visiting the Swayambhunath Stupa. Both these places are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Pashupatinath Temple
This temple dates back to 400 AD and is dedicated to Pashupatinath. It is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This temple is considered one of the most sacred temples in the Hindu religion and a trip to Nepal is never considered complete without a visit to Pashupatinath Temple. You can take a stroll with your family in the maze of the temple and lose yourself in the peace, aesthetics, and beauty of the temple.
After exploring the beauty and spirituality of Pashupatinath temple, we will cover the short distance of 7.5 km to reach the Swayambhunath Stupa.
Swayambhunath Stupa
This place is embellished with colorful and enticing prayer flags that keep fluttering with the song of the wind. The stupa crowns an entire hill on the Kathmandu Valley and the panoramic view of Kathmandu is an add-on of this place. The stupa located at the top of the hill is like an icon of Nepal and the Buddha's eyes on the stupa watches everyone entering his asylum.
2:30 PM: After a journey filled with spirituality and beautiful places, we will move towards the Central Zoo of Kathmandu, we will cover the short distance of 8 km to reach the Central Zoo, our final yet most exciting destination of the day.
Central Zoo
The central zoo in Kathmandu is a kid-friendly place thus making it a perfect destination for families. This zoo is home to many animals like rhinos, elephants, red pandas, and even some endangered species. In addition to this, you can also enjoy birdwatching and it is one of the best places if you wish to get close to nature. On top of all of this, your family can also participate in the feeding program at the Zoo.
After an exciting trip to the Zoo, our cab will take you back to the hotel so that you can unwind and get ready for the next day.
7:30 AM: Complete your breakfast and then we will head to the fun-filled Bandipur Village. Since the distance of Vadipur Village from Kathmandu is 148 km and it will take around 5 hours by cab to reach the location, we will have to leave a little early.
10:30 AM: After a road journey of 3 hours, we will reach the Trisuli River Rafting spot. We will spend 2-3 hours at this spot as we will have to reach the Bandipur Village as well.
Trisul River Rafting
Although there are many river rafting spots in Nepal Trisuli is the most famous one. This spot offers a wide array of experiences like scenic views, adventure-filled river rafting, and even cultural immersion. The river belongs to the grade 2 category and therefore, there are only small waves, except in Monsson. The river starts at Charaudi and ends at Gaighat, covering a distance of almost 38 km. You will be provided with all the river rafting equipment and don't worry about safety as the guides there are licensed and highly qualified.
2:00 PM: After an adrenaline rush through the Trisuli River rafting, we will get back on the road. Even from the Trisuli River Rafting point, it will take around 4-5 hours to reach the Bandipur Village.
Bandipur Village
Bandipur Village is popular among tourists for its rich culture, wildlife, and natural beauty. The Bandipur National Park is the main attraction of the spot and is home to many endangered species like Indian Gaurs, Sloth Bears, Tigers, and Elephants. Also, the entire village is a well-preserved Newar town and is home to sacred caves, old festivals, shrines, and temples. In addition to this, you can also explore the famous silkworm farming in the village and visit Thani Mai Temple, Khadga Devi Temple, and Siddha Gufa.
After exploring the entire village and involving in fun activities, you will be staying at a cozy hotel in Bandipur Village.
8:00 AM: After a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel in Bandipur, we will get on board and head towards Pokhara. By covering a distance of 76 km in about 3 hours, we will finally reach Pokhara. After reaching your hotel in Pokhara, you can freshen up a bit and get ready for the amazing sightseeing in the beautiful city of Pokhara.
1:00 PM: We will commence our Pokhara sightseeing with Davis Falls and then we will head towards the historical Gupteswhor Mahadev Cave. The caves are located within walking distance from Davis Falls. After exploring the beauty of Davis Falls, we will head towards Bindhyabasini Temple and finally end our day with Taal Barahi Temple.
Davis Falls
Also known as Devi's Fall or Patale Chhango is a magical waterfall where the water falling from the mountains disappears in an underground tunnel and this offers a magical sight for the visitors. It is one of the most visited places in Nepal. The waterfall was named after a Swiss woman drowned in the fall in 1961 but later the name was changed to Devi's Fall due to a pronunciation problem.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
Known as Bhalu Dulo among locals, is considered one of the longest caves in the entire Nepal region, reaching a length of almost 2,000 meters. After entering the cave, you can hear the thundering sound of water since the cave sits across the famous Devi's Fall. You can also spot a statue of Lord Shiva just after entering 40 meters in the cave.
Bindhyabasini Temple
It is the oldest temple in Pokhara city and is dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple is located at the top of a small hill. According to the myths, Kaski's King Siddhi Narayan Shah brought the goddess to the city of Pokhara before the unification of Nepal. The temple is also a major saktipith of the western Nepal region.
Phewa Lake
The lake is popular for the reflection of Machhapuchhre and other mountain peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri because of the crystal clear water and the magic of nature. The maximum water depth of the lake is 19 meters and the famous Tal Barahi Temple is located in the middle of the lake on an island.
5:00 AM: To witness the magic of nature, we will have to kickstart the 5th day a bit early. We will drive to the famous Sarangkot sunrise point to witness the orange-shaded sun rising from the laps of the mountains. The sun paints the sky golden while the mountains shine like gold and that's what attracts tourists from different parts of Nepal to this sunrise point. After the sunrise, you will return to your hotel and have your breakfast.
Sangarkot Sunrise
Sangarkot is located at 1593 meters above sea level and is famous among tourists for its sunrise and sunset. From the sunrise and sunset point, you also get a panoramic view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges. But to view the spectacular sunrise, you will have to get up early and head towards the sunrise point.
10:00 AM: After a splendid morning with the Sangarkot sunrise, you will have an entire day to engage in fun-filled activities like paragliding, bungee jumping zip flying, ultralight flying, and much more in Pokhara.
Bungee Jumping
Bungee Jumping in Pokhara offers a 70-meter vertical drop along with a free fall of almost 3 seconds before you bounce back because of the elastic rope and then enjoy the entire experience. But don't close your eyes during the jump as you will then miss the scenic view during the bungee jumping.
Zip Flying
Although there are many adventure sports in Pokhara, zip-flying is one of the most famous ones. It is a 1.8 km stretch of zip flying with a descent of 600 meters. During the zip flying, you can get a spectacular 180-degree view of the Annapurna range, stunning river valleys, and lush green forest.
Paragliding
Sarangkot is the paragliding heaven and this is where the flight takes off. The paragliding spot is 1,592 meters from the sea level and you will be roaming in the sky like a free bird with an instructor for about 30-40 minutes while enjoying the bird's eye view.
Ultralight Flight
In this, you get to fly in a lightweight, fixed-wing aircraft, and you enjoy a stunning view of the Machhapuchchhre and Annapurna mountain ranges. You also fly over the Phewa Lake and get to see the countryside of Nepal from the sky.
9:00 AM: After a fulfilling breakfast in your hotel at Pokhara, we will move towards Chitwan which is located at a distance of 170 km and it will take around 5-6 hours on the road to cover this distance. After reaching Chitwan, unwind at your hotel and later in the evening, you can enjoy the amazing sunset at Rapti River beach. You will also get to explore the vibrant culture of the Tharu Community as there will be a cultural program organized at the hotel.
Tharu Community
This community is an ethnic group that is indigenous to the Terai located in northern India and Southern Nepal. They have their language known as the Tharu language and they have been recognized by the government as the original nationality of Nepal. They worship the forest spirits and Maaghi is their biggest festival.
7:00 AM: Today will be your wildlife exploration day in Nepal as we will visit the famous Chitwan National Park and indulge in different activities. After a filling breakfast, we will head towards our half-day safari that will last anywhere between 3-4 hours. If lucky, you might get a chance to see the wildlife. After wildlife exploration, return to your hotel where a luscious lunch will be waiting to fill your tummy.
3:30 PM: After lunch, we will continue our fun-filled activities in the Chitwan National Park. You can go for jungle walks, take part in elephant bathing, and canoeing, explore the breeding center of elephants, and much more. There are so many things to do in Chitwan National Park that your whole family is going to enjoy it.
Chitwan National Park
Earlier called the Royal Chitwan National Park, the Chitwan National Park was built in 1973 and it is rich in flora and fauna. Among all the animals and birds, this national park is also home to the last populations of single-horned rhinos and the last home to Bengal Tiger as well. It is also the first national park in Nepal that offers a long list of fun-filled activities like elephant rides, hiking, cultural tours, camping tours, off-road tours, canoeing, bird watching, jungle safaris, and much more.
8:00 AM: Complete your delicious breakfast at the hotel and head back to Kathmandu in our comfortable cab. We will be covering a distance of 180 km on the road and it will take around 5 to 6 hours. En route, you can visit the famous Manakamana Temple through a cable car. It is an optional activity of our package. The cable ride offers a spectacular view of the landscape and you can also enjoy your lunch near the temple. After reaching Kathmandu, you can check in to your hotel and either unwind or explore the city.
Manakamana Temple
It is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of goddess Parvati. The temple is situated in a big courtyard and is built in the form of a two-tiered pagoda. From the complex of the temple, you get a panoramic view of Manaslu and Annapurna peaks. The only way to reach the temple is through a cable car otherwise you will have to go on a three-hour trek.
